Hyderabad, Telangana, September 2026: The National Education Awards 2026 – Hyderabad Edition, presented by India Book of Achievements under National Awards India, celebrated the achievements of 63 educators, academic leaders, researchers, trainers and educational institutions during a ceremony held on 5 September 2026 at Vihaa Elite Banquets, Hyderabad.
The National Education Awards 2026 brought together professionals working across teaching, school leadership, higher education, research, training, educational innovation, skill development and institutional management. The event was graced by Ms. Hashita Narayanabhatta as Chief Guest and Dr. Anup Sharma as Guest of Honour. Yashasvi Vashishtha, Founder & CEO of National Awards India, and Tejasvi Vashishtha, Founder of India Book of Achievements, led the organising platform and participated in the ceremony.
The event began with the ceremonial lamp lighting and felicitation of the Chief Guest and Guest of Honour before proceeding to the National Education Awards presentation. The first segment recognised a diverse group of educators and institutions for achievements spanning leadership, teaching, rural education, educational administration, STEM, skill education and student development.
Honourees at the National Education Awards 2026 – Hyderabad Edition
Those honoured included Dr. Matta Chennaiah Goud, Sr. Arogya Mary, Dr. Aade Satyanarayana, Dr. Gonjipalli Suneetha, M. Bhanu Prasad, Ms. Vani Marri, Yamini Chatterjee, V Mahendar, Tasneem Farhana Khatoon, Kasturi Usha, Mohammed Abdul Majid, E. Kanchana Latha, Skyline International Institute of Aviation & Hotel Management, Shells International School, Pragathi Vidyalayam, Meherunnissa Begum, K. Anvika Goud, Mr. M. A. Wajeed and Nakka Beulah.
The National Education Awards 2026 continued with specialised recognitions across academic leadership, research, engineering education, teacher development, professional training and emerging educational disciplines. The awardees included Dr. S. Srinivasa Padmakar, Syed Basith Ullah Shah, Dr. Bandita Naik, Gandrath Narayana, Dr. Tarigopula Sudhakar, N. Devi Naanchaari, Prachi Paliwal, Ragnesh Ragula, Prof. U. L. Sunitha, Dr. Kandukuri Veena, Dr. Sheela Rosalyn, P. Rama Krishna Rao, Sai Kumar Kambagiri, Dr. Aakriti Shukla, Mrs. Razia Begum, Dr. Dhananjay Kumar Mishra, Abhishek Miriyanam, Mohammed Jalaluddin and Ananya Sadula.
Further recipients included Minhaj Mahveen, Pragathi Semwal, SPNK Venkat B, Swapna Zampani, Sree Lata Shankar, Palimkar Pavan Kumar, Sivaji Neelam, Syeda Fareesa Begum, Kanamarlapudi Venkata Narayana Kumar, P. V. A. Sunil Kumar, Vadi Shailaja, Mohammed Imran Khan, Mrs. Vimaladevi Deekonda, Mrs. Tekula Srilatha, Adusumilli Sangeetha Chowdary and Sangeeta Selvaraj.
The final group of honourees included Dr. Jennifer, Dr. Veeresh Rampur, Soumya K. Dulange, Dr. Savita S. Patil, Yendluri Alekhya, Ms. Raina Bhatt, Varanasi Chinmoy and Dasari Veera Reddy. Completing the list of recipients was Adithiyan R, who was honoured with the National Young Researcher Award for Excellence in Forestry, Agroforestry & Sustainability 2026.
The breadth of the awardee list demonstrated the multidisciplinary character of the National Education Awards 2026. The recognitions represented fields including school leadership, teaching, higher education, academic research, mathematics, science, engineering, robotics, artificial intelligence, digital education, legal education, financial education, Human Resource Management, early childhood education, career guidance, music education, vocational development, sustainability and professional training.

Following the successful Hyderabad ceremony, National Awards India announced the launch of the National Awards 2026 – Mumbai Edition, scheduled to be held in Mumbai on 25 October 2026. The Mumbai Edition will mark the next city chapter for the National Awards India platform and is planned as a broader recognition gathering for professionals, leaders, entrepreneurs, innovators, institutions and changemakers from multiple sectors.
The announcement expands the journey beyond the National Education Awards 2026 while retaining the central philosophy of recognising meaningful achievement and contribution. Under the direction of Yashasvi Vashishtha, Founder & CEO of National Awards India, the city-edition model is intended to broaden participation, build professional communities and create visibility for achievers from different regions and sectors.
