In a country where survival often feels like rebellion, Udaan isn’t an NGO, a media house, or a legal firm.
It’s a movement.
Built from the ground up by Hunoof Furqan, a 21-year-old from Lucknow,
Udaan is not here to play safe.
It’s here to change the system.
Udaan is an ecosystem with three powerful wings:
Udaan Foundation, Udaan Media, and Udaan Legal.
Together, they feed, protect, expose, and fight for the people the system conveniently forgets.
Udaan Foundation: The Ground Force Everything begins on the ground.
Udaan Foundation is the heartbeat of the ecosystem — where hunger is met with ration kits, where silence is met with sanitary pads, and where abandoned children are met with school bags and books. This isn’t charity — it’s dignity.
Udaan Foundation is self-funded and community-driven.
There are no inflated salaries or flashy offices — just real people showing up where no one else will.
In Luv Kush Nagar, when entire families had no food for days, Udaan didn’t wait for paperwork — it delivered food within hours.
In slums, where young girls drop out of school due to periods, Udaan stepped in with pad distribution drives and open conversations.
Where the government fails, Udaan fills the gap — quietly, consistently, and fiercely.
Udaan Legal: Turning Victims into Fighters
Once a woman has survived a crime, her battle should be over.
But in India, that’s when her real war begins — in police stations, courtrooms, and hospitals.
That’s where Udaan Legal comes in.
We provide free legal aid to rape survivors, acid attack victims, abandoned women, minors abused under POCSO, and anyone else the justice system tries to silence.
Udaan Legal doesn’t just hand out legal advice — it fights.
We assign lawyers, file FIRS, draft complaints, and even physically accompany survivors to ensure they are not dismissed or harassed.

And if they are?
Udaan Media steps in.
Udaan Media: Truth With Teeth
They say media is the fourth pillar of democracy.
We say — only if it stops chasing TRPs and starts chasing the truth.
Udaan Media is that truth.
We don’t run paid stories or softened headlines.
We show ground reality as it is — raw, real, and often uncomfortable. Whether it’s exposing local corruption, filming police inaction, or documenting how ration scams affect real people — Udaan Media doesn’t just report, it calls out.
And when someone powerful tries to threaten our teams?
We hand it over to Udaan Legal.
That’s the power of the ecosystem — everyone protects each other.
One Vision. Three Weapons.
Each wing of Udaan feeds into the other.
Udaan Foundation finds the cases — during ration drives, health campaigns, or school visits.
Udaan Legal takes the fight forward, through courts, police complaints, and legal pressure.
Udaan Media tells the story, makes it public, and forces those in power to act. And all of this is run by a young team, funded by the people, and protected by nothing but truth.
We Are Not Neutral. We Are On The People’s Side.
Udaan does not claim neutrality — we are deliberately biased in favor of those who are poor, oppressed, silenced, and abandoned.
We are not afraid of power.
We don’t seek validation from influencers.
We don’t play safe.
We feed.
We fight. We film.
Built in Lucknow. Ready for India.
Udaan began in the lanes of Lucknow — but the problems we solve exist
So we’re scaling.
We’re building a national legal team, recruiting local on-ground reporters, and expanding community programs across UP and beyond.
And we’ll never stop — until truth, justice, and dignity are not a privilege but a guarantee.
This Is Not Activism. This Is Accountability.
You can call us an NGO, a media platform, or a legal group.
We call ourselves what we really are:
Udaan — the flight every Indian deserves. Because if we don’t lift each other up, who else will?
