The award was presented at a grand ceremony at the Yashwantrao Chavan Centre, Mumbai, attended by distinguished personalities from various fields. Her book, launched by Maharashtra’s Education Minister, delves into Purna Shanti Yoga and the ancient teachings of Lord Ganesha to King Varenya on attaining ultimate peace through meditative practice.
The event was part of the Maharashtra Ratna Puraskar 2024, organized by Afternoon Voice and supported by Grisu Media Arts, celebrating excellence across diverse sectors. Dignitaries such as Shri Deepak Vasant Kesarkar, Sonali Kulkarni, Padmashree Advocate Ujjwal Nikam, and other prominent figures were present.
Ganesh Gita is a detailed commentary on the yogic philosophy and meditative states explained by Lord Ganesha to King Varenya. It comprises 11 chapters and 413 slokas, illustrating the steps to attain Purna Shanti Yoga—the science of ultimate peace. The text explores deeper states of Samadhi, the unity of the Super-conscious and Supra-conscious, and offers practical instructions for self-control, self-restraint, and spiritual evolution through a combination of different yogic paths.
