In 2023, his inaugural year of training, Aditya clinched a gold medal at the state-level armwrestling championship, showcasing his exceptional talent and dedication.
Overcoming personal adversity, including the tragic loss of his father at the age of seven, Aditya relocated with his family to Gwalior. It was here that he discovered his passion for armwrestling at seventeen. Without formal coaching or access to professional facilities, Aditya embarked on a self-guided training regimen, utilizing improvised equipment and demonstrating unwavering determination.
His commitment bore fruit as he secured the 5th position at the national level, proudly representing Madhya Pradesh.
Beyond the wrestling table, Aditya has made significant strides in promoting the sport digitally. He is the founder of @armwrestlersofindia, the world’s largest armwrestling community on Instagram, boasting over 550,000 followers. Through this platform, he highlights emerging talent and promotes the sport nationwide.
