NASA astronauts Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore will remain aboard the International Space Station (ISS) for a longer-than-planned mission, as their return aboard SpaceX Crew-10 has been postponed to no earlier than March 19.
The delay is part of NASA’s standard mission assessment process, ensuring that the Crew Dragon spacecraft is fully prepared for reentry. Officials cited the need for additional safety checks and mission evaluations before confirming a landing date.
The astronauts, who have been aboard the ISS as part of routine crew rotation, will continue their scientific experiments and station maintenance until their return window is finalized.
