Director Vikram Bhatt and actress Avika Gor are reuniting, with two other actors, Shyam Kishore and Vardhan Puri, for another horror title, “Bloody Ishq”. Makers published the trailer of the thriller on 16 July, giving us a sneak-peek into the world of ghosts and haunted mansion. Producer of the movie is Mahesh Bhatt and it will release on Disney+ Hotstar on 26th July 2024.
Vikram Bhatt is considered the genius of horror genre and is back to frightening his audience another time. Mahesh Bhatt produced his latest film, “Bloody Ishq”. Main actors are Avika Gor and Vardhan Puri but at the same time viewers will have the pleasure to watch also Shyam Kishore as a detective.
Movie’s makers published its official trailer on 16th July, giving us a sneak-peek into the thriller.
In the trailer of “Bloody Ishq” you will have the opportunity to watch a woman who’s lost fragments of her memory after an accident. As she arrives on an unknown Scottish island with her partner, she begins to experience unnatural and unexpected situations inside her mansion. She eventually realises there’s more to what meets the eye and that the haunted house has a history which she needs to solve.
The trailer will you bring back in Vikram Bhatt’s other previous hit movie “Raaz” (2002), starring Bipasha Bass and Dino Morea. The ghost’s scenes and the air of the film seems to be on similar lines.

Vikram Bhatt said, “It may be hard to believe me, but I am scared of watching horror movies, even though I absolutely enjoy making them for the audience. I had been wanting to make a horror love story for the longest and when I spoke to Mahesh Bhatt about it, without a second thought, he agreed and then “Bloody Ishq” was born. I wanted to retain some elements of a horror movie like a dark setup, ghosts and spirits while also adding my own twists to the tale and giving it a fresh mix of a love story, suspense and horror.”
Shyam Kishore, known for his cameo in “Mirzapur” – Season 3, “Adrishyam – The Invisible Heroes”, “The Trial”, “Haseen Dillruba”, “Sacred Games”, added, “I am amused by horror genre and to land a detective role in “Bloody Ishq” because it was engaging and exigent.” Kishore also said that this movie is completely different from Vikram Bhatt’s previous ones titled “1920: Horrors of the Heart” or “Mansion 24”. Shyam Kishore is happy and grateful that Vikram Bhatt considered him and gave a great chance to work in his film. He said and added that is detective character helped him explore his inner abilities as an actor. Shyam Kishore talks very fondly of this film Bloody Ishq as on the very first day of the shoot he happened to meet Mahesh Bhatt who liked Shyam’s performance a lot and gave a few valuable tips as well.
Shyam also got tremendous appreciation from Director Vikram Bhatt for his fine and to the point performance. Director Vikram Bhatt also gave Shyam Kishore a very nice and cool look for the film in the detective’s role. With two back to back releases Shyam Kishore’s career is moving in the right direction as he is currently busy taking narrations of upcoming projects.
“Bloody Ishq” will have its digital release on July 26th, on Disney+ Hotter in India.
